We need to open our doors to every non-professional cook. Allowing them to discover, feel, live and understand the backstage of all the delicious meals that come to the table. You cannot learn how to cook only by reading books. Cooking is something you live in practice. This school is full of experiences and know-how adapted to everyone&#8217;s envies.&#8221; Alain Ducasse<\/p>\n<p><b>How are the chefs trained?<\/b><br \/>\nThe team comprises numerous chefs, all with experience working in Alain Ducasse&#8217;s kitchen. They are adept at conducting practical classes, using simple approach.<\/p>\n<p><b>THE COURSES<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b> How are the cooking classes organized?<\/b><br \/>\nUpon your arrival, a welcome drink will be provided for morning classes. Following that, you&#8217;ll proceed to the kitchen or relax in the sofa area. You&#8217;ll have the opportunity to savour the dishes you prepare, akin to a professional kitchen experience. For those opting for the full-day package, lunch is included in the itinerary.<\/p>\n<p><b> What are the schedules of the classes?<\/b><br \/>\nFor cooking and pastry classes<br \/>\nMorning: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm<br \/>\nAfternoon: 14:00 pm to 18:00 pm<\/p>\n<p><b> Are there any theoretical lessons in those classes?<\/b><br \/>\nThe course is devoid of traditional theoretical lectures, focusing instead on practical tips and guidance throughout. The technical support provided encompasses all the necessary theoretical elements, including recipes and techniques, seamlessly integrated into the class. At each stage of the recipe, the chef imparts relevant theoretical insights in an informal and relaxed manner.<\/p>\n<p><b> Can we have the recipes of the dishes we made?<\/b><br \/>\nAs soon as you arrive, you receive a recipe file with all the recipes you will cook.<\/p>\n<p><b> Where do the products used in the making of the dishes come from?<\/b><br \/>\nThe selection of the products we use is very important for us, this is the base of our cuisine. We source our products from local, well-established producers with whom we have built longstanding relationships and trust.<\/p>\n<p><b> What do you call \u00ab noble products \u00bb?<\/b><br \/>\nNoble products are products that are not used in everyday cooking such as goose liver, truffle, caviar, etc. You can cook them in our classes \u00ab Haute cuisine by Alain Ducasse \u00bb for instance.<\/p>\n<p><b> How many participants in a class are there?<\/b><br \/>\nProfessional classes: There is a maximum of 10 people by course to be able to fulfill the expectations of each participant.<br \/>\nAmateurs classes: There is a maximum of 12 people by course to be able to fulfill the expectations of each participant.<\/p>\n<p><b>How to know which level to choose?<\/b><br \/>\nLevel 1 is for beginners who want to discover original and delicious recipes as well as tricks they will easily reproduce.<br \/>\nLevel 2 is for cooks who wish to learn new tricks and Chef techniques. No matter the level, our chefs are here to teach you cooking with entertainment and to enjoy this unique moment.<\/p>\n<p><b> Are all the classes taught in English?<\/b><br \/>\nClasses are provided in English. But the chef can adapt the class if necessary (French, Arabic with pastry chef)<\/p>\n<p><b>Can my child accompany me to a course?<\/b><br \/>\nFor security reasons, children are not admitted to adult courses. Kids\u2019 courses are especially dedicated to them.<\/p>\n<p><b> From what age can my child register?<\/b><br \/>\nFrom 6 years old \u2013 on the specific kid\u2019s class.<\/p>\n<p><b>4 hands class price is for who?<\/b><br \/>\nThe price for 4 hands course includes 1 parent and 1 kid<\/p>\n<p><b>May I stay with my child during the kid&#8217;s class?<\/b><br \/>\nUsually, children are alone during kid&#8217;s class. However, during certain dedicated classes, parents are invited to register to cook with their children.<\/p>\n<p><b>What do I need to bring?<\/b><br \/>\nAll necessary equipment, including aprons, pencils, and knives, will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and a camera to capture this unique experience!<\/p>\n<p><b>I cannot come to a class, may I be refunded?<\/b><br \/>\nClasses are not refundable; however, you can postpone them once within the limit of the validity date of your reservation.<\/p>\n<p><b>I cannot come to a class; may I give my course to a friend?<\/b><br \/>\nAbsolutely. You can give your course to a person of your choice.<\/p>\n<p><b>Can I modify the reservation?<\/b><br \/>\nAny reservation can be modified once with 48hours notice in advance.<\/p>\n<p><b>I\u2019m late to the class, can I come?<\/b><br \/>\nYes, the chef will adapt.<\/p>\n<p><b>THE GIFT VOUCHER<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b> What is a gift voucher?<\/b><br \/>\nA gift voucher is a personalized card without any face value, which gives the beneficiary the description of the cooking course. Each voucher has a bar code and an issue date valid for 6 month allowing you to register online for a course of your choice. The gift voucher is sent by mailing under 5 open days.<\/p>\n<p><b>Someone offered me a gift voucher, how can I use it?<\/b><br \/>\nTo use your gift voucher, go to the website, choose the course you want according to the formula indicated on the voucher. When you want to pay for your course online, enter the bar code and the date indicated on the voucher. If the price of the course is higher than the face value of the voucher, you can pay the difference with your credit card. The value of the voucher will be automatically deducted from the amount of your shopping basket.<\/p>\n<p><b>May I exchange my gift voucher?<\/b><br \/>\nThe gift voucher could be exceptionally exchanged against another formula than the one mentioned.
